Kasey Reed
Systems Coordinator
I am the Assessment System Coordinator at the Assessor's Office, where I play a key role in managing and improving assessment data. I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2015, and I’ve been fortunate to be a part of the Assessor’s Office team for the past five years. I began my career at Knox County in the field as an Appraiser, then used my technological skills to move into my current role. My work includes creating and implementing tools that make our processes more efficient, ensuring accuracy and equality in property valuation, and analyzing data to support informed decision-making. I also serve as a community liaison, helping to explain the assessment process and answering any questions the public may have.
In addition to my role at the Assessor's Office, I frequently serve on the Board of Equalization to assist in the appeals process, helping to ensure fair outcomes for property owners. I enjoy everything I do to provide data-driven insights that improve the fairness of assessments and serve the public.
